ConvertKit Review

Are you looking for a top-notch email marketing service provider?

Maybe the one you currently use is too complicated or simply doesn’t deliver email reliably?

If you’ve experienced anything like I have over the years, then I understand you’re probably on a range between “frustrated & fed-up” to “downright pissed off” with your current email marketing service provider?!

I’ve tried dozens of services since I first started properly email marketing, back in the early 2000s… AWeber, GetResponse, InfusionSoft, ActiveCampaign, Drip… the list goes on and on.

Some were good.

Some were bad. (And I mean really really bad!)

Some literally cost me a fortune due to their complexity, bugs and glitches and shockingly bad deliverability. I wasted a lot of time and spent a lot of money trying to make things work.

(As the saying goes, “You can’t polish a turd!” … but in my experience you can waste a lot of time and spend a lot of money trying!!)

Choose the wrong email marketing service provider and you could lose money from undelivered emails, or your emails automatically going straight to spam.

You could also waste an awful lot of time trying to use poorly designed or overly complicated software.

And as we all know, time is money!

Anyway, to cut a long story short, ConvertKit has finally ticked ALL the boxes in my email marketing service provider ‘must have’ checklist…

  • Easy to use – tick!
  • Excellent deliverability – tick!
  • Well designed, modern user interface – tick!
  • Integrates well with WordPress and other major platforms – tick!
  • No silly frivolous or distracting features – tick!

ConvertKit really is the best email service provider I can recommend.

There IS a catch…

Non-Creators Need Not Apply

If you run an e-Commerce website, it’s not for you. There are alternative services designed specifically for e-commerce ‘shopping basket led’ websites.

Or, if you own or work for a large enterprise, and are looking for a platform that not only does email marketing but also has advanced team-based C.R.M., workflow management and customer service facilities… ConvertKit’s not for you.

ConvertKit has been specifically designed for people like me—it’s perfect for bloggers, online course creators, SMEs and online entrepreneurs.

If your goal is to build a big list, and then use email to develop a strong relationship said list (i.e. ‘grow your tribe’) then ConvertKit is the software you’ve been looking for.

Some of ConvertKit’s Best Features…

The number one feature for me, hands down, is its interface. It’s gorgeous. And so easy to use.

(I think I read somewhere that the creator Nathan Barry was once a User Interface designer… so I guess it should be well designed!!)

Second best feature—deliverability. I know I’ve used the word way too much already, but deliverability (there I go again) is SO important, I can’t really mention it enough.

I’m sure you know what the term means but in case anyone else reading this doesn’t—deliverability is a simple measurement of how many of your emails actually get delivered and land in your readers inboxes.

I wrote about this a lot in my second book (E-Mail Marketing Dynamite) but in a nutshell… if you have 1,000 subscribers and send them a broadcast email but only 500 of them actually receive the email, then it has 50% deliverability.

Like I say, that’s overly simplified—there’s more to it than that—but it really boils down to this… if you’re using an email marketing service that has poor deliverability, then without even realising it, you will be getting penalised and losing money. (No matter how good a copywriter you are!)

That’s why deliverability is so important. ConvertKit take it so seriously they even publish monthly reports showing exactly what their stats are. (Excellent of course … will make many other platforms hang their heads in shame!)

Third up on my list of favourite features is the Automation facility.

Now most modern email marketing software have automation features, but they make it so darn complicated. In many cases, unusable.

Not so with ConvertKit.

Take their Scheduled Timing feature—it’s the best I’ve seen.

For example if you want a new subscriber to receive emails at a certain time of day, or on certain days of the week—that is so easy to do in ConvertKit.

Like I say, it is possible with other services—but most I’ve tried have made it almost as hard as doing brain surgery wearing a blindfold, stood on one leg.

Not ConvertKit… it’s super easy.

(Advanced tip—combine ConvertKit with Deadline Funnel and you can really put your marketing on steroids with ‘evergreen deadlines‘ – but more about that some other time!)

Anyway I could keep ranting and raving about how much I love ConvertKit… but I think by now you get the picture…. I LOVE IT!

ConvertKit Does Have One Major Problem

Actually the major problem was more to do with me—as a new user—rather than the service itself.

I’m impatient.

When I get new software I want to be a ‘Instant Pro’

— I hate the feeling of stumbling around trying to work out how everything fits together. I want to hit the ground up and running.

Now ConvertKit does provide lots of training. And there are a lot of people out on the t’Interwebs who teach how to use it.

But if you’re anything like me—you don’t want to be ‘taught’ …

… you just want to start using it.

Right now!

(My mantra for Internet Marketing these days is ‘Make Money & Have Fun Doing It’ … life too’s short otherwise.)

So that’s why I’ve created a highly-enjoyable no-fluff, grass-roots, down-and-dirty “get it done” style ‘Watch & Implement’ training video—showing every step you need to take from initial purchase… right through to getting your first email marketing sequence up and running.

The key thing in the video — it shows you how to use ConvertKit to add what I’ve found to be the number one most essential thing any website can have… and so few don’t.

By watching my videos you get a double-whammy

You set up ConvertKit fast… while at the same time add something to your website that could make a HUGE difference to your list-size.

Now I’m selling that video for £99 (more than $99) — but as someone looking to join ConvertKit I’d like to give you a free copy! Totally gratis.

All you have to do…

1. Sign up for ConvertKit‘s free trial using this button… (only takes a minute!)

Or, watch this video if you want step by step instructions on how to sign up —

2. After you sign up you will receive an email from someone at ConvertKit. Simply email and tell us the name of the person in ConvertKit who sent you the email.

And that’s all you have to do… someone in my team will then reply with your free login details to my special ConvertKit quick start training, worth £97 (about $120)

Watch my training while you set up your ConvertKit account—then sit back as your website automagically captures sales-leads and then builds a relationship with them… so your grow your business on auto-pilot.

ConvertKit is one of the best tools any serious Internet Marketer can put to work—perfect for any entrepreneur looking for online success—and I look forward to helping you quickly start.
