    Hi Ed, Thanks for sharing this valuable information.

    I have been working on a search phrase for an affiliate product which I started promoting on 2nd Jan 2008. Of the 31,200 search results in Google and after 13 days work, I am in 4th position for that phrase. Google also has added a sitelink in below the 4th spot highlighting a secondary target page.

    I have been using a number of the techniques you list above and have to confirm that they do work.
