Video Review: 5R Web Conversion Formula.

by Ed on 27th April 2009

I interviewed master web copywriter and conversion expert Daniel Levis last Thursday (23rd April 2009). At the end of the interview Daniel made you (my blog reader) a very special offer — access to his full 5R Web Conversion Formula at a preferential rate (i.e. big discount!). To help you decide if this is for you, here’s a quick video review I made over the weekend…

Watch this video to find out why I’m raving about 5R! (CLICK THE GRAPHIC BELOW)

In a nutshell, this is one of the best copywriting programmes I’ve seen, because of the systematic way it goes all the way from from market research through to the end result of highly responsive web copy that packs a powerful emotional punch.

As explained in the video, Daniel’s special offer to my blog readers and email subscribers (which obviously includes you!) is a fantastic $200 discount off the standard price.

*** NOTE: This special offer ended on 20th April 2009 but I still fully endorse this programme – click the link below to get the full programme on a 30 day trial basis. ***

Remember, Daniel’s special offer expires on the 30th April — that’s this coming Thursday!

Act now and take advantage of Daniel’s amazing 365-day guarantee — where he says “if after implementing his system you don’t see an extra $15,000 sales (more than £10,000) as a direct result then you get a full refund.”

How strong a guarantee is that! Who wouldn’t want to try this programme and put Daniel to the test?

I look forward to hearing about the amazing effect this has on your web marketing too. Click here now to go and grab your package too.

To greater web conversion,

Ed.

Don’t miss this special opportunity to systematically boost your website conversion rate.

I’m convinced! I bought the package after the webcast.
I have done quite well in the last two years in Castle Douglas with my current website (OK, so I could have done better!), but am now teaming up with a colleague to open a bigger business in Glasgow and need to build a new and better website. So this is very timely.
I can see I have a lot to learn, and I can’t do everything at once, but will be implementing as much of your and Daniel’s advice as I can as early as possible.
    It’s an iterative process.
    Thanks.

    Hi Ed,

What a great idea to do a video review. I really like it, so thanks for taking the time to do it and I hope you do more in the future.

    Cheers,

    Dave

@Peter – Thanks for the feedback. I know you’ll love the 5R package, and more importantly find it helps you build a World classs web site. (And by that, I mean one that *converts* — not just one that sits there doing nothing! :)
Good luck with your new business.

@Dave – thanks for the feedback. I like this style of blogging (video blogging… vlogging) and I plan to do more. Good to hear at least two of my valued subscribers like the format. Hopefully there are more readers out there who do as well……

Great vid, the yanks are the best at this stuff. I feel your interview was good, it was hard because you agreed ( quite rightly so ) with Dan on all his techniques. Keep up the good work. How much do you charge businesses to market their website? Rog

  • http://www.edrivis.com Ed

@Roger – Yes perhaps I should have been more of a “Devil’s Advocate” to Daniel! But like you say, his principles are so ‘true’ I couldn’t help but agree with everything he said. As for marketing your website – thanks for asking. At the moment I’m not taking on any more private clients, but I do have a mentoring programme which still has some places available (pending confirmation from a few people who said they were joining but haven’t officially confirmed yet.) Here’s the link.
Thanks for commenting. All my best, Ed.

    Hi Ed,
It was great that you organised and did the interview. There was some very useful information particularly as we are just in the process of developing a website.

For family reasons I couldn’t join the live broadcast, so clicked on afterwards…I would have loved to have been able to control the speed at which I listened to the replay and also would have liked to have sped through some parts, e.g. Daniel’s lenghty intro. Don’t know if it possible to do this.

I found the actual interview content good, but found the pace very slow…it took a long time to get to the nuggets. Maybe my threshold for this is low as I am a TV journalist by profession.

I would prefer shorter more to the point interviews. The gold was all there, but there was a lot of sifting needed to get to the nuggets.

Same with the review I favour video inserts which are less than 5 minutes. The shorter the better. Don’t want any good stuff left out, but I like it pretty well honed so every second counts.

Also I want to say that I really like your blog…timewise I don’t look at many, but yours does add good value.

    Thanks Ed,

    Annette

I liked the main broadcast and also your short video plugging Daniel’s products. I think it’s OK that your interviewing style is not very polished – I don’t think a slick intervier style would work in this context.

    Hi Ed,

I liked the review and the look of your office, complete with green screen. NICE.
Also good angle that the camera is coming from. No looking halfway down the screen.

Also liked how you had the b and white image at the front of the video very retro and cool looking.

My only suggestion would be at 17 mins it’s a bit long for a review.

@Annette – Thanks for the detailed feedback, really helpful thank you. TV journalist by profession? Sounds like it should have been *YOU* interviewing Daniel!! :)

@Adam – Agree about slick interviewer’s – sometimes that justs puts people off. (Same with web design — sites with all the focus on ‘glossy and Flash’ usually have lowest response. Content is King!

@Gavin – Yes I think from the above comments (esp. Annette’s I need to be ‘shorter and faster’ with this kind of thing. Thx.

All great feedback – thank you.

    Ed.

I dithered too long thinking about buying one of the early copies of Daniel’s 5R system then missed the final deadline due to some crisis at work. If anyone has bought it I would appreciate their feedback on how useful it has been in structuring their copy when they actually use it. Thanks.

  • http://www.edrivis.com Ed

@Phil – Sorry you missed Daniel’s deadline. I’m going to rewrite my sales letters (ALL of them!) using the 5R Formula – and I’ll be running split tests on the old versus the new to determine how it’s increased my sales. (I know it will increase my sales becausse my letter’s nearly all lack the deep emotional salesmanship Daniel’s programme evolves… I’m just curious to know how much I’ve been leaving on the table the last few years by not having copy written in that style. I’m also going to make a commitment to myself, my email subscribers and my blog readers to be cover online copywriting a lot more in future it’s such a critical facet of web marketing. Anyway, ‘watch this space’ for split-test results soon!
