I’ve just done a short (11 minutes) video where I walk through the results of my e-mail marketing survey that started last Friday (14th August 2009).
Watch it here:
Small Business E-mail Marketing Survey – August 2009
You’ll see some really interesting results and feedback.
The survey’s certainly reinforced my decision to launch a book on the ‘old’ subject of e-mail marketing because it still seems so many small businesses are either not using it, or of the ones who are, feel they could be getting a lot more from it.
If you’re not registered for private updates about my book then go here and sign up.
Do that on the launch day you’ll get the chance to grab the book free (only pat postage and packing) and you’ll also get loads of additional tools and resources to either start e-mail marketing the easy way, or, get more sales and profits.
Bye for now,

Ed.

I have to say, this was probably the most interesting post I’ve read all day. Many times I’ve participated in a survey and was left wondering what the results were. It was entertaining to see how your survey played out. It also shows how important surveys are to your business. It’s not necessarily that you need the opinions of others to feel good about your products. It is necessary thought to find out where your readers or clients have the most difficulty in successfully marketing their own business. In the end your success isn’t all about how many books you sell, it’s how many success stories come out of reading and applying the suggestions and strategies in your book, to their business.

Thanks Micheal – and yes we’re both on the same page… there’s no need to second guess what people need to know when services like SurveyMonkey combined with a few quick broadcast emails make it so easy to find out.
Thanks for the comment.
